Dubstep, is imo more awesome than any form of hardstyle.

You mean the third? The second is just normal mainstream hardcore for the most part. The third is schranz/hard techno, which I'm sure others can elaborate on better than me seeing as I don't really listen to it much (besides that Waldhaus EP that came out last year).

Nah, first half of CD3 is just techno, rest is a bit harder but it's still quite soft.

lol @ Speedcore comment. He must be some guy who listens to trance or something.

Can you give me some recommendations for hardcore albums? i more or less know what i like and dislike in hardstyle but only heard very few hardcore tracks. if it helps i generally like stuff that has a good melody somewhere in the track and maybe some vocals don't need it but its a plus.

hardcore is a very diverse term, there are many subgenres which have their own sound and characteristics. if you want to learn more, try asking in the General Hardcore Discussion thread: http://theharderforu...ore-discussion/

don't discuss it further in this thread please, stick to discussing the cd.
those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

When did I say that? It just seems very convenient that when dubstep gets really huge, Q-Dance starts supporting it, and then brings out a rather commercial mix cd.

Why would they throw a huge party for something unpopular?

You have to remember that it is a business.
