Same shit, different genre. Im not motivating people to make one for every genre, but since hardstyle and hardcore are the 2 main styles on this forum.

Mine was actually just Buzz Fuzz in general.
But the ones that mostly got me into were Frequencies that got my attention towards hardcore and Murphy's law in 2001 that got me into it.

The track that was the real one to make me fall in love with Hardcore, was "Omar Santana - Vulgar" back in 1994. Always thought Hardcore sounded cool, but after hearing that one, there was no turning back :D

from memory im gunna say dj paul - your mother sucks cocks in hell. if it wasnt the first it was def on a cd that i was listening to up at schoolies back in 01. got fed some shit, was a lil fucked up, then got given a discman with a hardcore cd in it by wolfman. would have been filled with RTC, elstak, maybe some buzz fuzz. just that early style of hardcore. and since then i havent looked back

haha but most of the time it was the angerfist fanboyism. i still laugh at those people now, but they don't know better. the only type of angerfist fanboyism that should be laughed at are the people that wont accept that there are beter or other dj's than angerfist

Pretty sure the first track I showed you Waz, was either The Horror or Nobody harder by Rotterdam Terror Corps in 2001.

My first hardcore track was on a school excursion in Year 9 in 1998. My mates and I were good friends with Tymon and we used to rollerblade together on the weekends and Tym was a bit older than us, but my mate Paul was already into hardcore and raves from going to them with Tym. So my first hardcore track was Hardcore To The Bone by Neophyte or Lancinhouse & Jappo - Industrial Strength Outro

Later that year I got Nightmare in Rotterdam 5 CD and Thunderdome Best of 98.

I never went to a rave untill the year 2000 but.

i was curious about hardcore a few years ago after seeing some people on itm arguing about it, so i asked some of them to recommend me some tracks to start with. they suggested ophidian - butterfly vip, and e-noid - dna theory. checked em out and liked them both a lot.
those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

It would've been in 2005, I was mainly into happy hardcore at the time (listened to a little bit of hardstyle, hard trance and freeform) so I downloaded the new Bonkers 15 CD. I got to CD3 and discovered that it wasn't happy hardcore at all. Thankyou Neophyte and Scott Brown for saving me from the awful cheese. These were the first 18 track I heard, in order:

Tommyknocker Ft. MC Justice - Nocturnal Rituals
Scott Brown - Capital Murder
Bass-X* - Motherfucker (Scott Brown Remix)
Tommyknocker - Twist
Scott Brown - I'll Get You
Scott Brown - Fasten Your Seatbelt
Plus System - This Is How We Do It (Scott Brown Hardcore Mix)
Scott Brown - We Don't Stop
Masters Of Ceremony - A Way Of Life (DJ Promo Remix)
DJ D - Skullcrack (DJ Dione Remix)
Evil Activities & DJ Panic - Never Fall Asleep
Jappo And Lancinhouse* - Exlxaxl (Neophyte & Evil Activities Mix)
Ophidian & Tapage - The Mine
Hardcore United - Time To Make A Stand (Neophyte & Evil Activities Mix)
Evil Activities Ft. DJ Neophyte - Back On Track
Neophyte* vs. Evil Activities - One Of These Days
Neophyte vs. Lenny Dee - The Future Priests Of Now

Twist, Never Fall Asleep, Exlxaxl, The Mine, One Of These Days and The Future Priests Of Now are still some of my favourite hardcore tracks to this day :D

I heard hardcore back in 2003, in some hardstyle sets that finished with hardcore. The one track that truly made an impression on me was 'G-Shock - Demons (Promo remix)'. I searched up and down to find the name of that track.

I was only 16 when that CD came out :P

That being said, I went to my first event (psytrance party) at 15, was into psytrance for a while until about 2006, started getting into harder stuff around 2005.

Yeah I was into metal too, seems that a lot of people make the transition from metal to hard EDM. I stopped listening to metal a bit for a while, but have been getting back into it over the last year or so.
